Still riding high off of seeing Infected Rain I decided for today’s Song Pick Of The Week, we’d take a look at a newer song. In fact it’s their latest single that was released right before their 2026 U.S. tour called “Stranger.” Let’s take a look……….
I do have to say that this is definitely one of those songs that sounds great live and on Spotify. I sort of feel like this song shows them taking a slightly different direction yet maintaining their roots at the same time. Vocalist Lena Scissorhands describes the song as an “inward fight with identity. It highlights the struggle of who you are and who you should be. It’s about becoming strangers to ourselves and trying to find our way back.” What makes this song great is that there’s kind of a lot going on. I mean you have the aggressive vocals, clean vocals, great guitar work, as well as haunting melodies. To me it’s the perfect balance of all those things and then some. Of course there’s a video to accompany this song too which is visually awesome. I was really glad they played this live because it was absolutely badass especially when the crowd surfing began. If this song is any indication of how the next album is going to be then I am already excited for it!!
