Alrighty welcome back to another Song Pick Of The Week. In continuing with going down the list, we are now at number 97 and for those that do not want to go look on the website this week’s song pick comes from a band out of Sweden called Frantic Amber. Why they picked that as a name I don’t know but either way they’re bad ass, so let’s take a look……

I honestly don’t remember how I heard of this band it might’ve been when I was browsing Spotify and looking for different bands to listen to. To be honest, they probably were under the similar artists section on either Crypta or Nervosa. But in any case, I’m glad I discovered them because this song kicks ass. Now what I do like about this song is that the vocalist enunciates. which means you can understand her pretty well. The song is about Vikings raiding England and it’s obviously about killing people, which are all good things in a metal song. Not to mention it’s fast and thrash-y and it has a touch of death metal. You know I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again when it comes to death metal Sweden just does it better and it just goes to show that even the newer bands are kicking ass. But if you’re going to get into this band or if you’ve never even heard of them, then this is probably the perfect song to start with. Now a US tour with Nervosa or Crypta would be awesome, and hopefully these ladies can make their way to North America sooner rather than later.
