For this Song Pick Of The Week, we’re gonna take a look at number 90 on my top 100. Number 90 is a great band from Sweden called Unleashed and they’re part of what I (and I’m sure so many others) would call The Big 4 of Sweden. Now arguably they’re probably one of the first Viking metal bands and they’re fucking bad ass. So with that, let’s take a look………

I know this song choice is probably not everyone’s ideal song pick and if I remember correctly, I don’t think there’s much video of them playing this song live which I guess would make this a deep cut. But that aside this is got to be one of my favorite songs by this band. It is from one of their newer albums. I believe the album came out in 2021, but that just goes to show you that for a band that’s been around this long, they can still put out bad ass albums, and songs. There is something kind of epic sounding about this one and the guitar riffs the vocals the drum work everything about this song works in a spectacular way. As I said, this is probably my favorite song by this band (or one of them at least) and in an odd sort of way I feel like this one would probably be a good song to get into this band. Still though it’s got plenty of ferocity and I would say it’s a good example of a perfect death metal song. My favorite part is the instrumental outro like it’s just so fucking cool and it’s a lot of fun to play really loud. Definitely one of these songs that if I’m listening to it so is everybody else.
