So back in March of 2026, I put the band Cherry Club on the Chopping Block for a Rising Star Review and at the time, they said their debut album would be out later this year. Well fast forward to June 26, 2026 and we did in fact get that album. It’s called Let It Burn so let’s take a look…..
You know every now and again a band comes along and puts out the perfect album for that moment in time. In a time where I myself am always listening to so many bands, songs, etc. this album just seems to be a bit of fresh air. Now if you’ve been listening to this band, then yes they did add the singles that were previously released on this record but they actually fit and aren’t out of place. This is the kind of album that really puts you in a good mood and for a new band to be able to do that is pretty impressive. Sound wise, it’s a great mixture of indie rock with just a slight touch of atmospheric-ness and some hard rock added for good measure. I’d say that this is a fantastic start to what I can only imagine being a long discography and if this debut album is this good, then I am very much looking forward to hearing what they have to say next. If you are looking for something new or something just a bit different then definitely give this album a listen. Your ears will thank you. I’ll give this 8.5/10
