If you haven’t been to a Cobalt Presents show then what are you doing with yourself?? I mean seriously? The amount of talent out there really is massive and one such Rising Star is Ayva. Now I have had the privilege of seeing her and her band several times and it’s always been great. On May 29 and July 3, 2026, she released the songs “Eye Of The Storm” and “Countdown.” Let’s take a look…..
Ayva is one of those artists that really will impress you. At such a young age, she has really put out some great music and these two songs are perfect examples of someone who is evolving themselves. Up first is the song “Eye Of The Storm” and is very much in the same vein as her previous songs. The difference however is that you can hear her branching out and this song has a bit of a pop feel to it. It’s dreamy and poppy all at the same time. Up next is the song “Countdown” and I wouldn’t say it’s a complete departure but it is certainly a lot of fun. It’s one of those songs that has a really catchy guitar riff and it’s what I like to call a riff driven song. Songs like this are a perfect example of how an artist can branch out and write something out of left field. Definitely check out both songs and be sure to head over to Hotel Ziggy on July 25, 2026 as she is one of the artists/bands playing that night!!
