I’ve always thought that if Arch Enemy hadn’t recruited Lauren Hart of Once Human, then they should’ve gotten Diva Satanica of Bloodhunter. On June 12, 2026, we got a new album from the band Bloodhunter. Let’s take a look…..
Bloodhunter is one of those bands that pick up right where Arch Enemy left off and their newest album Sons Of The Abandoned proves just that. Where the last album Knowledge Was The Price teased that melodic death metal line, Sons Of The Abandoned just goes for it. Like this is the album that should’ve been after Arch Enemy’s Doomsday Machine. Everything about this record is a perfect example of melodic death metal done right. I mean you have the badass riffs and solos from guitarists Dani Arcos and Guillermo Starless as well as that low end from drummer Adrian Perales and bassist Fabian Tejeda. And of course you have those brutal and badass vocals from Diva Satanica who really cements it all together. Clocking in at a mere 44 minutes, this album is definitely a rollercoaster. It starts off guns blazing right out the gate then slows things down then picks it back up again. Overall, this is a great album and I’m giving it 9/10. Now if they could only come to the U.S. that would be great!!!
