For this Forgotten Classics, I thought I’d go back to 1994 again and take a look at the song “Lump.” In fact, I’d venture to say that this song is one of the biggest reasons why I purchased this album and so with that, let’s take a look…….
This is definitely one of those songs that defines the 90’s particularly 1994. Apparently the lyrics are about that time when Chris Ballew had a benign tumor he had in the head while having a vision of a woman in a swamp and called it lump because he was fond of the word. Fun fact, there are two music videos. “Lump 1” is what was shown on tv and the second one called “Lump 2” was deemed too dark and disturbing. Check this song out if it’s been awhile or are looking for a fun throwback song!!
