Up next is a band that I honestly haven’t really listened to. I had heard of them but didn’t bother to listen until now and that band on the chopping block is the band Nothingface. The only thing I really know about them is that a couple of the guys were in Hellyeah so let’s take a look…….
Pacifier- there are some who would compare this album to say the first Korn album and I kinda see it but at the same time not really. To me it’s very much a 90’s sounding album yet it’s not dated. For a debut it’s pretty good. I’ll give this one 9/10
Standouts: One Thing, Undercut, Useless
An Audio Guide To Everyday Atrocity- so for this album, they went for more of a diverse sound. There are more clean vocals on here yet there is a good amount of harsh vocals too. Now from what I understand this one is the “fan favorite “ and it’s easy to see why. I’ll give this one 10/10
Standouts: Goldtooth, Breathe Out, Villains
Violence- I will say that following up a great album is pretty hard to do. Does this pick up where the last album left off? No not really but it’s pretty close. I do wish there were more songs with harsher vocals but that’s just me. Anyway, I’ll give this one 8/10
Standouts: Make Your Own Bones, Everlasting Godstopper, Piss And Vinegar
Skeletons- if you enjoyed the Violence album then you’ll really like this record. To me this one is good but not great. There’s just a little too much filler on here. I do get Alice In Chains vibes (kind of) with this one. Overall not bad but just ok. I’ll give this one 7/10
Standouts: Murder Is Masterbation, I Wish I Was A Communist, All Cut Up
This is one of those bands I wish I had known about because I’ll be live they were great. It’s too bad that singer Matt Holt died because his voice is pretty badass. This band is very underrated and it’s too bad more people don’t know about them. I wouldn’t mind seeing some sort of tribute reunion (since that seems to be the in thing these days).
