I have been very lucky to be involved with The Cobalt Presents shows for a good solid year at this point. Because of helping with the shows, I’ve really been able to further expand my musical palette, and this next Song Pick Of The Week is a great example of such. As of today, Thursday April 16 2026, the latest single “Perfection” was released from Ayva so let’s take a look……..
Ayva is a perfect example of someone who is a rising star and this song is a great example as to why. It wasn’t that long ago that she released another single called “Tearing Apart” and while that is a great song, this one is vastly different. “Perfection” takes you on a sort of journey. It’s moody, atmospheric, a bit trippy, and has a very calming effect. There is definitely a lot going on with this song and I have no doubt that this is the kind of song that I would listen to on the way home from a death metal concert. For someone being as young as she is, there is just such an unbelievable amount of talent and songs like this make me really excited to hear what she has to offer next. Now as of writing this, she and her band will be playing the April 18th Cobalt Presents show at Bar 10 at The Corbin Bowl in Tarzana and you definitely won’t want to miss her performance along with the five other great bands.
