Album: The Real Thing
You know the album The Real Thing it’s one of those albums that you forget how great it is!! I mean after all this was the album that gave us their hits Epic and Falling To Pieces so I guess this might be considered the fan favorite. I don’t know maybe one of their other albums is, but I do know that as far as hits go for this band this album has them. Now the reason why I chose this song was because of number one. I’m all about picking the lesser-known songs/songs that may be a little too on the nose and it’s probably my favorite song by this band ever. It is the shortest song on the record, but it’s just so good. I believe it barely clocks in at 2 1/2 minutes but it’s a great 2 1/2 minutes. It’s got kinda like a punk meets metal meets groove and it’s just such a fun song. Like that seriously the best way I can describe this song is it’s just fun and it’s also a really good cardio song. If I remember correctly, I think they played it on SiriusXM Liquid Metal and I remember thinking how great this song is. I was like man I haven’t heard that song in forever. I forgot how awesome it is.
