Black Rebel Motorcycle Club

Up next is a band that I’m sure people haven’t heard of. The band on the chopping block is Black Rebel Motorcycle Club. I’ve only heard the name but this one was a request so let’s take a look……..

B.R.M.C.- ok so this record is a rock record but it’s a dark rock record. This is certainly different and it’s actually really good. Nothing fancy just guitar, bass, drums, and vocals. I definitely recommend checking this out. I’ll give it 10/10

Standouts: Love Burns, White Palms, Spread Your Love

Take Them On, On Your Own- this one is a lot like the first one and this one is more on the hard rock side. It’s also darker but for me personally, I slightly prefer the last record. Either way, it’s a good follow up and I’ll give it 9/10

Standouts: In Like The Rose, Generation, Rise Or Fall

Howl- well this is certainly a switch. This one sounds like it could be a country/rock record or maybe a bluegrass record. Either way, it’s a clear departure from the last two. For me, the songs are kinda meh. They aren’t really anything special and boring so with that I’ll give this one 4/10

Standouts: Ain’t No Easy Way

Baby 81- and we’re back to the rock sound. I’d say that this one isn’t as dark as their other records have been and this one seems to have a more raw sound. It’s a lot better than Howl so I’ll give this one 8/10

Standouts: Weapon Of Choice, All You Do Is Talk, 666 Conducer

The Effects Of 333- I don’t get to review many instrumental records but this one is different that’s for sure. Now to hear this record you have to go to YouTube and there are no pauses in between each of the songs. Like I said, it’s different and also a weird record. I’ll give it 7/10

Standouts:

Beat The Devil’s Tattoo- this one starts off strong and then just kinda falls flat. I mean it’s not a bad record but just kind of boring. The songs themselves are just average and nothing special. Personally, I find this record to be too long. There’s just too much filler. Overall, an average record and I’ll give it 6/10

Standouts: River Styx, Conscience Killer

Specter At The Feast- again, this record is just too long. I feel like with this band, less is more. The songs for me  are just too slow and at times, the record drags. I get that they’re trying something different but to me they could’ve stuck with what they did for the first couple albums. I’ll give this one 5/10

Standouts: Let The Day Begin

Wrong Creatures- ok so this one is definitely a step up but again, a lot of the songs are too slow in my opinion. This goes back to being kind of a dark record only slower. Overall, it’s just ok. I’ll give this record 7/10

Standouts: Spook, Little Thing Gone Wild, Circus Bazooko

This was definitely one of the more interesting ones I’ve done. Overall, these records aren’t bad just too long and slow. If you are looking for something dark and different, then I’d definitely give these guys a listen.
