For this Guest Solo, taking a look at the Witchery song “Witchkrieg” and the guest guitar solo is from Kerry King (Slayer) so with that let’s take a look……..
What I like about this band is that they combine black metal and thrash metal. “Witchkrieg” is the opening track to the album and just right out the gate it just goes for it. It’s definitely on the more thrashier side of things and the guitar solo is very much a Slayer sounding solo. I remember the music video being shown quite a bit on Fuse’s Uranium which I guess at the time was kind of strange because this band is pretty underground. I do remember when they had announced that there was going to be a new album with a music video to the title track wondering if Kerry King would make an appearance and sure enough he is in the video. Anyway, give this song a listen!
