If you have gone to any of the Cobalt Presents Shows within the last year or so you’ve probably seen the next band on the chopping block. This is another new band and they are called Minor Strut so let’s take a look……….
If you haven’t been to a Cobalt Presents show (and you should btw), then you are definitely missing out on great bands like Minor Strut. They definitely have a variety of styles going on but think Radiohead meets Pixies meets Paramore. For being such a young band, they really do have a lot of talent and apparently they have been doing this for 10 years!!! As of now on Spotify, they have about 11 songs, but they’re all really good songs. My guess is that they’ll probably have an EP or maybe even a full length sometime in 2026. This is definitely one of those bands that sound great in studio and great live. If you’ve ever seen them live, then you know that they definitely have IT. I think what I like most about this band is you can tell that the music definitely comes from the heart and that is great to see. As it is with all of these newer bands that I’ve given a spotlight review to, I just think it’s great that there seems to be no shortage of talent!! So please give this band a listen and a follow!
