Up next on the chopping block is another Band Spotlight. The band in question is Taryn Haze and she may or may not be at an upcoming Cobalt Presents show. Let’s take a look……
If you haven’t been to a Cobalt Presents show (and you absolutely need to because they are just tons of fun, BTW) then you really are missing out on a lot of really good talent. Taryn Haze it’s just one of many new artists that are up-and-coming and I must say for someone that is as young as she is she really has a lot of talent. When it comes to her music, I would say it reminds me (oddly enough) of that artist Maggie Lindemann and some of her songs even have a bit of a Coheed feel. As of now, she has 16 song EP that clocks in at about 18 minutes as well as two other singles which means you could probably get through all of her music in about 30 maybe 35 minutes. As I said there’s a couple of different styles going on with these songs you have your straight up hard rock, some pop, and even a dash of Goth. I really do like it when bands/artists incorporate different styles because it makes the music much more exciting. Either way check out her music and your ears might just thank you later.
