Up next on the chopping block is a band you may or may not have heard of. They are a newer band and only have about 3 albums and an ep. The band is The Warning and I had kept hearing their name being mentioned so I thought I’d check them out. With that let’s take a look……..
Escape The Mind- this is an EP but you can tell that already they sound like a band that’s been around for awhile. The songs sound pretty good especially for such a young band. I’ll give this one 8/10
Standouts: Fade Away, Escape The Mind
XXI Century Blood- I guess the best way to describe this album would be simple. By that I mean it’s just a straightforward rock album. There are some who would immediately probably call it a pop record but it’s not. It’s certainly better than all the crap that people call music these days. Definitely check this one out. I’ll give this one 9/10
Standouts: XXI Century Blood, Runaway, Wildfire
Queen Of The Murder Scene- I definitely think this is a good follow up however, this album does have some more songs that are on the mellower side. Yes there are songs that have that hard rock edge but overall, this one is softer. I’ll give this one 8/10
Standouts: The One, Dull Knives (Cut Better), Hunter
Error- this one is a mix of the last couple albums. I will say that this one does feel more cohesive than the other two. I’m curious to see where they go from here. Definitely check this album out if you want a great hard rock record. I’ll give this 9.5/10
Standouts: Animosity, Error, Z
You know for such a young band they have some really good songs. The fact that they are all sisters makes is pretty cool too. It’ll definitely be interesting to see how big they get. From the YouTube videos I’ve seen it looks like the put on pretty good shows so when they finally come through the US, I’ll definitely be checking them out. Let’s just hope that they are not overhyped.
