Rising Star Reviews: Zoe Roarz

If you don’t have plans for April 18, 2026, I’ve got great news for you……… you do now because this next band/artist on the chopping block will be performing at Bar 10 at The Corbin Bowl in Tarzana. The artist on the chopping block for this Spotlight Review is Zoe Roarz and she came across my radar thanks largely in part to my podcast cohost/partner Brian of Audioeclectica.   Let’s take a look……

Since I’ve had an awakening of the eclectic nature, I’m finding that there is a massively large amount of young and new talent out there. Zoe Roarz is definitely a great example of such and for those that may not be familiar, she also plays guitar in the band Xtine and The Reckless Hearts. Her music is interesting in that it covers several genres.  There are grungy/alternative rock songs, there are acoustic songs, and even some punk/pop punk songs. Now I don’t usually listen to acoustic songs but with these particular tracks, I found them quite enjoyable. I always enjoy when a band or artist is able to incorporate many genres of music because it keeps it that much more interesting.  When it comes to streaming her music, she has 12 songs online and you definitely can get through them in an hour or less.  Anyone who writes songs about The Shining is a-ok in my book! I really do hope that at some point she puts out a full length album or EP, but until then, enjoy the 12 great songs that she has online.

Standouts: Stuck Inside, Lip Gloss, Sweaty Hands
