Well, it’s time for another Song Pick Of The Week!!! Since I’m still counting down to the number one spot on my list of top 100 bands we’re gonna take a look at number 92 Infected Rain. Now it wasn’t that long ago that I did their rewind review and they’re just another one of those really fun bands so with that, let’s take a look……….
Song: Lure
Album: Endorphin
So the reason why I went with the song Lure is because I think when a very first start listening to this band, this was one of the songs that caught my ear. It’s got kind of that Meshuggah-y guitar riff to start off and then it just goes right into it. With this band, the vocalist Lena Scissorhands goes back back-and-forth from harsh vocals to clean vocals and with this song, there’s a perfect balance of that. I would like to think that they would play this song live and as of this review, I still have yet to see them. But again, my hope is is that this is not really a deep cut because I’m sure live it. Just absolutely crushes. It’s another one of those songs that’s short but sweet and it just hit you from the start and doesn’t let up. I would say if you’re gonna check out any of just their songs this might be a good one to start with because every now and then it does enter my rotation. You know how there are some songs that you kind of forget about and then remember how good they are? This is one of those. Actually, the whole album is pretty damn good, but I would say this is definitely one of my favorite songs from this band. It’s definitely my favorite song off the album.
