Well it’s time for another Song Pick Of The Week and since we are counting down to number one this week’s entry is number 96. Number 96 on the list is none other than Blink-182 and I had to say I was a little torn as to which song to choose but ultimately, I think I chose a unique one so with that, let’s take a look…………
Honestly, when it comes to this band, yeah sure they have a lot of immaturity and silly humor in their songs, but once they get to their kind of albums, they do start to mature. If you can look past the goofiness, this is actually a pretty good band that has some great musicianship. Ultimately this song choice is from the self titled album and I decide to throw a curveball and pick the song All Of This. Now it makes this song unique is that you have Robert Smith of The Cure on guest vocals. I was actually torn between this one and the song Feeling This. Both songs are great, but the reason why I went with All Of This is because it’s not your typical Blink song. It could very well pass off as a Cure song. Either way, this is a great song and it really does just show their songwriting abilities. It does show they can in fact write mature songs and be serious. It’s certainly not your typical Blink song but definitely give it a listen because it’s actually really good and certainly different than what you were used to hearing, especially if you’ve only heard their songs on the radio. A great song off of a really great album.
