Rising Star Reviews: Up From Here

What do you get when you take bands like Blink 182, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, and thrown in a bit of Green Day? Why you get the band Up From Here and that’s who is on the Chopping Block for today’s Rising Star Review!!! Let’s take a look….

There are bands that you listen to and think “man these guys would be a perfect for a festival like Warped Tour??  You can always tell when a band wears their influences on their sleeve and these guys definitely do so.  They are what I would call a throw back type of band meaning their music is something straight out of the early 2000’s pop-punk scene and you know what?? There’s absolutely nothing wrong with that at all!!That kind of music is just fun and definitely takes you back to a simpler time. Now when it comes to streaming their music, they have an album called All For Nothing as well as a few non album singles. All For Nothing is a straightforward no holds barred pop-punk album. On streaming, there are two versions of the album one being a deluxe version and a standard version but honestly, I’d go with the deluxe.  Now if you want to see this band live, well you’d have to hop on a plane and fly to Tennessee but maybe just MAYBE they’ll make their way to LA at some point.  Who knows?? Time will tell. Anyway, give these guys a listen, a follow, and if you’re in the Tennessee area, check them out.
