One particular band that I have become a fan of as of late is the band Halestorm. They were on my radar for the longest time and up until 2024, I hadn’t really given them a chance. However, I’m glad I did and as I was browsing YouTube one morning, I came across one of their performances on Jimmy Kimmel. Let’s take a look…….
I know that for this band the song “Love Bites” is one of their biggest hits, but it’s for a good reason. It’s a great song and it sounds great live. It would be considered one of their mainstream songs but it’s definitely not overplayed. Now this particular performance was on January 29, 2013, and not only did they play this song, but they played a few other songs as well. I do miss the days when part of Hollywood Boulevard would be shut down, and there would be a stage outside for bands to play. It was a much simpler time and you basically saw a free mini concert. Lzzy Hale is definitely one of those artists that sounds great on album but even better live. Her voice is just so powerful and while I haven’t seen them at an indoor venue (yet) I have no doubt that they sound even better. Now the video that I came across wasn’t exactly the greatest mix, but it still sounds awesome.
