2026 has brought so much great music for both local smaller bands, as well as bigger bands. One such local band is Madam Bombs and on October 30, 2026, they released their latest single “Dear Lover.” Let’s take a look….
In a sea of bands that are trying to sound like one particular band or another, you have bands like Madam Bombs. Now, of course, I would be lying if I said that this is a band that doesn’t wear their influences on their sleeve. However, there’s a right way to go about it, and they most certainly do. The song “Dear Lover” might be only three minutes, however there’s a good amount going on. Now this is a song that doesn’t reinvent the wheel by any means but what it does do is take older ideas and put a refreshing spin on it. This is a song where you can absolutely hear influences like Green Day and even a hint of a band like The Go-Gos. Combine that sort of sound and that makes for a very fun and enjoyable listen. One thing to also know is that this is the first song with (new but not so new) bass player/singer Jaden Cordova and if you’ve seen them play then you know that she is a great fit. If this version of Madam Bombs is putting out songs like this, then I am very much looking forward to hearing what’s next. So in the meantime, enjoy “Dear Lover.”
