So as Women’s Month comes to an end here on Sinister Reviews, I absolutely want to reiterate that when it comes making great music, women really know how to do it right!! I just have to say I have been had such a great time listening to each and every one of these bands that are fronted by women!! I really did try to go through and pick great bands and write about both the legacy bands and the up and coming/rising stars. Now, if you click the link below, it will take you to a playlist of some of my favorite bands and I would definitely encourage anybody that’s reading this to give a listen to each and every one of them. Whether you’re in the mood for the classics like Joan Jett And The Blackhearts, Blondie, Siousxie And The Banshees or something new like The Warning, Plush, or Electrify you really can’t go wrong. You could always go on the extreme side of things, such as Crypta, Nervosa, or Infected Rain. Then of course you have the risings stars like The Anti-Groupies, Madam Bombs, Ayva, or Unpolished*. I honestly probably could’ve kept this going for at least another two or three months but I will continue to write about women in music, women fronted bands, and how women play an extremely important role in making great music.
