So in keeping with collaboration posts, I thought for this one I would take a look at a band that I’m not super familiar with, but this collaboration is absolutely bad ass. This collaboration is when Volbeat had Barney Greenway do guest vocals on one of their songs. So with that, let’s take a look………….

Album: Beyond Hell/Above Heaven
So Volbeat is good up to a certain point. Like they don’t have bad albums, but as you get further, On into their catalog, they all sort of start to sound the same, which is probably why I haven’t put them on the chopping block. But I will say this song is just an absolute banger. It is a bit of a stand out from the rest of the album and in my opinion, it is the best song. It does start off with Barney’s absolutely bad ass growls and tone wise, it’s got almost a Motörhead feel to it. There is a nice transition between the gutter vocals to Michael’s clean vocals. It’s sort of as if you took Motörhead, a dash of Napalm Death, and Volbeat and put it all in a blender. This is definitely a song that is worth checking out and definitely one that you’ll listen to over and over again. I absolutely love this song and highly recommend it.
