Great Performances On TV: Velvet Revolver-Dirty Little Thing

You know there was just something special about the early 2000s. I don’t know exactly what it was but one thing I always enjoyed were seeing bands that I liked performing on talk shows. One such Great Performance On TV was when Velvet Revolver played the song “Dirty Little Thing” on Jay Leno.  Let’s take a look………

For those that are unfamiliar with Velvet Revolver, it was a super group consisting of Slash, Duff, and Matt Sorum from Guns N Roses as well as Scott Weiland (Stone Temple Pilots), and Dave Kushner (Infectious Grooves/Wasted Youth). They really were a great band and honestly it’s a shame that Scott passed away so soon.  They put out two good albums, those being Contraband and Libertad.  If I remember correctly this particular performance was one of those rare occasions where he was actually drug-free.  Regardless of how you feel about this particular group you cannot deny that this performance is nothing short of great. It really is too bad that they couldn’t make things work and that Scott is no longer here with us. We will always have this performance (and many others of course) to remember him by and I really miss both him and Velvet Revolver.
