A few days ago, I was going through my movie collection and I came across Tales From The Crypt presents: Bordello Of Blood and decided to give it another watch. Once the end credits started, I heard a familiar voice and lo and behold it was John Bush and then I remembered that Anthrax was on the soundtrack. Let’s take a look…
For those that are unfamiliar with Tales From The Crypt, it was a horror anthology series that was popular in the late 80’s and 90’s. It was based on old horror comics called EC Comics and both were a lot of fun. Now of course when a series like this becomes popular, there are going to be feature films made and Bordello Of Blood was the second one. It’s about vampires in a Bordello and it stars Corey Feldman, Dennis Miller, Erika Eleniak, and Angie Everhart. The thing about movies back in the 80s, 90s and early 2000s is that they always had to have a great soundtrack and Bordello Of Blood is definitely one of them. Not much is known about this song, but clearly it was made specifically for this soundtrack. The movie and soundtrack were released in 1996, which means that it was between the albums Stomp 442 and Volume 8: The Threat Is Real. When you listen to this song, it definitely sounds like it could be included on Volume 8. It just has that sound and honestly it’s a shame that the only way you can listen to it is either on CD or YouTube. I really wish that they would’ve at least touched upon this when they did their 40 year YouTube series, but sadly they did not. Besides Anthrax, the soundtrack also includes artists like Humble Pie, Scorpions, and Thin Lizzy.
